Hope this isn't a duplicated response.... 

So defending gives the morningstar a 50% increase in victories. I wanted
to try morningstar vs pikeaxe, to get a feel for whether defending is
still a good idea when the chances to be hit are much smaller (although
a high chance of death if the blow connects). I tried the simulator in
both Safari and Google, but got an error ("unsupported major.minor
version 51.0", if any value).
