Agreed, but the effect was pretty cool in the movie (and what better reason
do you need to include it in the game).  Also, I think I pictured describing
something like the following to my players:

GM: You see something glowing in the dark.  It's moving toward you.  As it
gets closer you realize it's a set of teeth but you can't seeing anything
else about the creature.

Player: I ready my weapon

GM: You suddenly see ten more set of glowing teeth open up all around
you.......

display to other males, but not to a species that is blind.
