Re: (TFT) Just joined



Well, at least an interested one!  ;-)

I've been slowly downloading 
the complete archives of Dragon magazine (you can get them for free in a co
uple of places) and I've been surprised to note how many articles in there 
dealt with the same issues to one degree or another -- like how castles cou
ld be defended in a world of magic and potential aerial attacks, for exampl
e.  Or the nature of Demons and how their magic gets used (though their d
emons aren't rendered pseudo-immobile by the rules...).

It's fascinati
ng to see how great minds come up with the same issues again!  Clearly th
at indicates some obvious weak points in the whole theory of the initial ga
me rules (regardless of the game), but nothing that reasonable people being
 reasonable with one another can't solve.
