Rick,
So, I like the basic concept. Gnomes seem to be pretty interesting ch
aracters, but I DO find it odd that they can trade attribute points for so
many different things. As I recall, the Dwarves could only buy two th
ings that way, and they had to be done in order. Also, I'm very confu
sed by the Ravens of Omen and the Whispers to Ravens powers -- they seem to
be the same thing, though the one mysteriously talks about "wishes" withou
t actually explaining what the power is for. It's almost like there w
as a cut and paste error with those two powers.
Also, I have to question giving the Gnomes Mechanician for free on top of a
ll their other benefits (natural armor, bonus hits, special weapons).
I could see making it cost one less IQ point for a Gnomish character based
on the apparent characteristics you are going for here, but free seems a b
it much. Have you actually playtested these advantages? It seem
s to me that Gnomes may gain too many benefits as written.

Hi Jeff,
The link is here...
http://tft.brainiac.com/RicksTFT/Characters/Gnomes_In_TFT.html
However, if you google "brainiac TFT" it takes you to our site that
Joe hosts. He has a link 1/3 of the way down the page that takes
you to all of my essays and articles. The gnomes is in the
Character's link.
Warm regards, Rick.
