Just to clarify for Justin and others who may have AM/AW/ITL but not the 
microgame Melee and Wizard:

Wizard (I think) came with a counter set that made it clear that giants were 
three hex creatures:  the counters were triangular and neatly fit into three 
hexes.

Tho maybe it was one of the Microquests.  But I definitely think three hex 
giants are pretty much established as standard for TFT, based on that counter 
sheet.
