In one of the Ares magazines there was an excellent fantasy wargame called
Albion.

One of the major powers is the Fomorian.  They were treated on the
troll-vain much like Runequest.  Almost ogre-like but intelligent.  The
other three powers were elves, gnomes/dwarves, and humans.

In my opinion, would make a good RPG world add Roman legions to it it would
even be better.
