(TFT) genetics and fomorians

Dear all
a genetic hypothesis for fomorianism would be that it was a rare recessive
gene (i.e. the phenotype (a yukky fomorian) only manifests when there both
genes are present. i.e. George the giant carrying Ff (i.e. one gene
affected but normal appearance) marries Geraldine, a lovely giantess who
unluckily also carries the gene. This means that 1 in 4 children will be a
fomorian.
This also means that fomorians will always breed more fomorians (each
offspring should get a 3 in 6 chance of inheriting a parents' bonuses of
'alertness', 'acute hearing' or 'eyes behind', say). This will make larger,
more established communities more dangerous as 2nd & 3rd gen. fomorians wil
ahve a higher proprtion of bonuses.

Giants, not being skilled mathematically nor having access to DNA sampling,
know vaguely about 'bad blood' in families that pops up now and again -
which makes giant parents all the more keen to hide their deformed
children, lest their young daughters (or sons) are deemed poor choices of
partners.
