Re: (TFT) More on 8 hits - FMS table weirdness

LOL, I should really get out my calculator before attempting advanced math
like that.

Okay, well aside from whether or not a ST 1-9 character can get a
-2 DX penalty or can fall down due to hits, perhaps the table would be more
clear if the 0's were changed to "n/a" in those columns. Going unconscious at
ST 0 is clear enough though.

However, if a ST 9 character goes unconscious at
ST 0, and a ST 10 character goes unconscious at ST 1, then they can take
essentially the same number of hits...but the ST 9 character has an advantage
over the ST 10 character because it can't get a -2 DX penalty or fall
down.....

No, for at least three reasons:
1) Nine minus five is four, not three.
2) The -2 DX penalty for taking 5 or
more hits in one turn is cumulative
with the -3 DX penalty for being reduced
to ST 3 or less.
3) The only bit of that row of the table that might make any
sense,
implies that a ST 9 character would NOT fall unconscious at ST 1.
