Re: (TFT) football stuff

He Who Must Not Be Named clearly values fanatical loyalty above most
things. I suspect that results in his team not being as powerful as
it otherwise could be. That, by the way, is probably a good fatal
flaw for many arch-villains to have...

<cackels evily while rubbing hands together>

I use a Fame/Fortune/Happiness description for NPC motivation.
HWMNBN would probably be something like F0/F0/fanatical devotion from followers 100 100% of his exp would come from acts of devotion from his Followers and power structure. To go fanatical, I'd say that the act would have to be beyond the pale of normal "worship".
Human sacrafice?
HWMNBN gets the exp for it?

resperation increases about 4
fold (~45 breaths per minuet, about the same rate as a newborn),

I really can't recall, but I rather suspect being born is
particularly "strenuous exercise". It certainly is for the other
partner, the mother, and up until late in the process the infant is
sharing a lot of the blood chemistry.

Yeah, I'll bet so... "it's good ta be da king".
I've found that fST works a lot better than damage to ST for combat, especally 5 second turns. A player could have their Figure attempt several Actions like attack in the same turn by paying a large fST expendature to do it, like a boxxer who throws a flurry of blows quickly but then has to cover up for a while to get some fST back before throwing more blows.
A lot of injuries happen because of fatigue.
The opponet is worn down until fatigue causes a slow reaction that allows an injurious strike to land. Punctures are going for internal orgins and arteries, slashes are going for muscle groups (a slash across a major muscle group will render a apendage useless structurely) or arteries, and crushing blows are mainly trying to break bone or damage major muscle groups.
Put the blow on a location and bust out Gray.
How much force was it?
The harder the blow, the better chance your gonna need a surgon rather than first aid. The reason that Britian has that 1 foot pound of force law on the books is because anywhere that you can take a pulse is suseptable to around that foot pound and a bleed out. It'd be a freek shot with a airgun but the more airguns that are out there...
Judging when an opponet is tired is helped by things like breathing rate.
If an opponet is making 3 or 4 attacks per turn and not breathing hard you might be in trouble... or fighting an Illusion...

Forensic Science Agency for Northern
Ireland has indicated that a more reasonable assessment of the minimum
muzzle energy required to inflict a penetrating wound lies between 2.2 and
3.0 ft7lbf (3 to 4 J)."

This seems reasonable. My Daisy should go up to 10 J or so maximum. I
believe it'd break the skin on 10 pumps, but maybe not on 2 pumps.

10 J is about 7 and a third foot pounds.
~1.5 ST force or about 1.5 inches into muscle
