RE: (TFT) Wizard mods - out of balance?

> It reminds me of an interesting thing that happened in GURPS from edition to
edition and expansion to expansion: In the first GURPS, there were not only
skills but Advantages, which cost points and could be a wide range of things,
such as Ambidexterity or Legal Enforcement Powers or Musical Aptitude, etc.
Well when the Psionics book came out (and in later editions of the basic
rules) it turned out that if the GM wanted to include psychic powers in his
universe, some of the mundane advantages _were_ psychic powers, just only
being used for innate abilities. IIRC, Common Sense was really Clairvoyance,
and Empathy was really Telepathy.

Interesting, and cool.

I do Psionics in TFT this way.

A character's Psionic attribute is = to their characters' extra points,
or their unspent extra points. For instance a starting character who spends
zero points, actually has a psionic score of 8.

Please don't tell my players, as they haven't figured this one out yet.
