I agree, perhaps a series where fencing is the first prequisite followed
by other levels similar to the UC series would be appropriate. As
somebody already pointed out, TFT doesn't lend itself to combat oriented
characters.

Of course maybe the real answer to this is 'followers', let someone else
help you!

Last comment on the playtest, remove armor from the expert, shouldn't he
have an adjusted 14? Use a bigger weapon for the strong one, why have
the strength if you don't use it? Still will be unbalanced though.
