Well, ed. I hate to say this, but I hold in my hands the C&S 1st ed. copy of
C&S Sourcebook 2, with a lavender cover with the Mike Gilbert drawing of a
thief, a boy and a mage standing before a large wooden door. It has a
copyright date of 1981, which is 2 years before C&S 2nd Ed. came out. It
contains rules on doors, locks, breaking in, weaponsmithing, determining
spells for NPC mages, runes on weapons, magic items, news, jaquerie,
expanded strategic warfare, sieges and strategic naval war.

(Sometimes it's satisfying to know more than the official Torturer's Imp for
C&S.)
