Well, that's where I think TFT really shines. It gives you the bare-minimum
rules and then  you can add any 'flavor' or behavior that  you want. You
can use TFT unmodified with just about any Demon background - including
D&D's unmodified. 

The mythology I use for demon's is detailed and varied -- and in fact
changes depending on the campaign I'm running. But the actual rules for
Demons change very little!
