Yes, both Ice Age and later GURPS: Dinosaurs carried over most of the
material. 

Steve Jackson's Tribes however is a fascinating game that I've been
adapting to TFT play that covers alot of the same ground as far as
evolution - while still allowing you whomp on Dinosaurs!
