The canon shadow-wight lives in darkness, and sees in darkness and
Shadow spells as humans do in light. It sees in dim light as humans do
in dim light, and sees in bright light as humans do in darkness. Since
your spell is 'Body of Shadow', the shadow-wight connection seems right.
