Ya, there's a lot you can do with a 50 ST battery that can get your whole 
group saved, besides creating a gate.

Following Mark's warnings, if you do use a gate into a dangerous situation, 
I'd suggest carefully setting up the "safe" side so it's not so safe for 
foes who might follow you through.
