(TFT) Record Keeping

Are there any good DM Utilities out there that work well with TFT 
from a record Keeping basis?

I need to find a better way of keeping track of my npc's and pc's 
than my usual scribbled on paper and assorted text files. Any 
ideas that will help in this are appreciated. I have MS Works for 
data storage if I have to go that route, but could use some 
suggestions on a compact way to store combat records.
