John,

    What follows is a seven part post I wrote in August of last year.  It 
was all written in reaction to your farewell post, and unfortunately is 
rather negative.  I submit it here as a form of airing my laundry.  I am 
feeling more positive now and trust you will forgive me my personal attacks. 
 Most of all I hope you feel the truth of the matter.  That is, I value 
your contributions.
