Hello all,

One of the previous posts mentioned metal detectors, and I almost posted 
then.

I do not know about TN, but here in GA where I am, you cannot just walk 
around with a metal detector.  You have to have the property owner's 
permission IN WRITING on your person while on their land while detecting .

Surface collection of arrowheads, WITH NO DIGGING, is allowed, but once 
again, you must have permission in writing, in advance.

Otherwise you are trespassing or looting, which is probably a bit more 
serious than the various copyright discussions we have had over the years.
