Re: (TFT) Ogre PC

You're not the first to suggest that. I offered to "baptize" them and free them from the burden and slavery they have suffered under for years. It seems that the "pod people", or at least the Wizards of the Coast, got them.

They're good guys, although the other night they seemed like a bunch of old ladies. :-) They really want to streamline the combat but they are hooked on the detail and complexity of D&D character creation with all the bells and whistles. Thanks.

Any suggestions on how to make the character better? I thought he looked

My advice: If you're going to play D&D, play D&D. If you're going to play
TFT, play TFT. The two systems are too different for a translation to be a happy
event. When ITL/AM/AW first came out, way back when, I immediately snapped
them up and changed my AD&D game over, but *that* wasn't a happy thing either. I
ended up invoking an armageddon event (killing off all the gods) and
fast-forwarded the game world by 1000 years.

My suggestion is that your DM do something similar. Or at least allow the
players to create completely new characters.
