Okay by way of testing the new system Im goanna throw out the following thoughts on Cidri, magic and demons. If this process goes smoothly then Ill be able to commit to 2 or 3 ORGINAZIED posts a week.

So lets start with a few Quotes;

THE WORLD OF CIDRI


Three hundred years after Jen Mnorens first jump, his dependents had found, mapped, and conquered three hundred seventy-one alternate Earths.



   Now the above kinda stuff, thats sprinkled throughout the rules, leads me to a couple of assumptions.
   There seems to be an Earth Prime or Alpha Earth or some such deal here. Granted this is a bit like GMT but Patter Mnorens half-dozen jumps set his Earth as #1 (at least relative to a Mnorens point of view).
   These Planes seem to be closely related. At least closely related enough for the Mnorens to describe 371 alternate Earths. Also closely related enough for creatures that we recognize as wolfs, etc. to be summoned.
   Jens Earth could conceivably be seen as a kind of Amber ala Rodger Zelazney. This would suggest that the planes are arranged in such an onion-like fashion that the farther one travels from ones universe of origin the stranger things become.
   Now from the rules as given we know that a Mnoren wizard could have (can?) set up a gate between planes.

GATES
   A Gate is a magical door from one place to another. It can be any size up to 3 meters in diameter, and can lead from ANYWHERE to ANYWHERE, as long as the wizard who created it was able to reach both ends to set it up.


   Its pretty clear to me that a Gate can be a kind of teseract through space. Thats a pretty powerful thing and got me to thinking like this.
   What if the universe was Abbots Flatland and the whole thing was contained in Jen Mnorens basement? 
   The 2d beings of Flatland could only see Jen in section/s and as Jen pokes a finger say, in and out of the plane it could appear to the Flatlanders that Jen was actually teleporting. This is a roundabout way of saying that Demons could be viewed as being  higher-dimensional. 

A lot of this stuff is a bit premature.
Now that Ive bothered to invest something in getting this stuff out Ill try to clean my stuff up a bit.

I might as well throw this in as its on magic.

IRON, SILVER, AND MAGIC
   The nature of cold iron is such that it inhibits the formation of magical spells. The reason is not known; it appears to have something to do with magnetism;  

Also we remember that of 371 Earths, 11 had magic and 3 had space travel.

This really bothers me and I STILL cant quite put my finger on it

   Well Ive been thinking of what a wizards apprentice tool kit would be. Im thinking that along with Aid an apprentice should know Staff, Ward and Lock/Knock. Im also thinking of calling these creation spells. I know that there are spells like Summon Demon that pretty much HAVE to have an apprentice w/Aid but Im thinking about Item creation. What are the weekly spells? This is what I mean by tool kit.
   Oh Im also thinking of making Lock/Knock as described in the rule as being intellectual property of the Thieves Guild. I doubt with the Wizards Guilds dim view of technology (magnetism) that theyd bother with the mundane mechanics of a lock from a Cidri POV. Lord knows about other campaigns. 

Oh, another prob, w/Cidri.
A single planet-oid-like-deal still would have to jump through hoops to get different physical effects at different points.

{Aside; its bizarre what this stupid thing chooses to correct automatically and the stuff it leaves for me to too two correct.) [What! Not even a green squiggle for that?]

Modern Technology seems to be annoying technology to me for the most part. How many I am that I am phone interfaces do I have to learn? I just wanna make a phone call.
