The only "Dave" I can think of is Dave Seagraves.  I believe that he and the
Mav used to get into it quite a bit.  Dave, if I have misremembered, I'm
sorry.

MicroTactix uses a phrase called "In Contact."  It means the same basic
thing as engagement but is handled a bit differently.
