RE: (TFT) week 2



     As as been asked many times, please trim any text you are commenting on
to just the relevant line or two.  Some of these comments have grown quite
short yet contain pages and pages of material replied too.  On some news group
readers this is not a problem.  But many of our subscribers use the ''digest''
format, and it becomes a burden to see the same paragraph quoted over and over
and over.  On top of that sifting through it all to find the one new comment
approaches impossible in longer discussions.

    This one time I reply to an untrimmed post, but I feel an example would be
illustrative.  The post below is a classic example.  It is a cascade of four
posts that quote the previous one.  I believe if you look we can see where the
poster has actually quoted themselves once as well.
