Yep, except mega-hexes twist.

You can draw hexes that are of the same proportions and orientation (no drift) that are 5 hexes side to side with the 1.3m hex smack in the middle.
Each side of the larger hex has three 1.3m hexes and none of these are divided by more than half.
That's 25 hexes in area and the next larger hex is at 10 hexes sts and etc.
That's a fortuitious circumstance for a finger counter like me.

The simpelest way to draw these is to follow the hexside adjoining each virtice, pass through the center of the 2nd hex to its oposite vertice, and then follow the third hexside to its vertice.
This describes vertices of the larger hex.
