Re: (TFT) Standing up... movement or action?

Thanks for the response Richard. It is kinda of buried but on page 3  
of Advanced Melee, under Actions, last sentence it says "If a figure  
is knocked down before its turn to act comes, it does not get to act  
that turn". I know that you, or someone you gamed with, altered his  
rule to make it more playable within your gaming group and that's  
fine. As far as I'm concerned games such as Melee are wide open to be  
tinkered with as long as the new rule is used consistently within your  
group and everyone likes the new rule. I play the game pretty much as  
written but even then I do have a few house rules that I find helpful  
(like pole weapon damage and reaction to injury to name a few.)

I think this discussion started when someone new to the list asked  
about when a figure that has been knocked down actually stands up.  
Most of this conversation has been simply to clarify that.
