I'll make it worse for myself before I try and make it better.
We mobilized 1 in 10 for direct martial service.
About 4 million men.
That 200,000 directly in the air service (not work battalions) is about 5
percent of what we fielded.
Sounds bad for me huh?
Of course tractors and the agriculture boom... but that's another story
