I hate to say it, but all humor aside, the article points out many truths about gamers. Not truths about all gamers, but enough that it can be made a generalization. I would think that most D&D geeks would be happy to avoid the draft, anyway. Note that the author of the Fineous Fingers cartoon, a D&D player and SCA fellow was an Intruder pilot on a carrier. I guess some militaries are more thorough than others when it comes to investigating qualifications.
