more points, he can do it without moving. However, the roll he makes to
cast it is still against DX, which doesn't make an exceeding amount of sense.
So my proposal is that, for every 2 points by which a wizard's IQ is above
that required for a spell, the wizard gets a +1 DX to cast it. This makes
smarter wizards much more likely to succeed at casting basic spells, which
to my mind makes a lot of sense.
Has anyone done anything similar in their games?
