Re: (TFT) TFT and whimpy shields.



Hi Rick

As others in the original threat mentioned, armor and armies moved on from
the use of shields after about 1300. TFT however is the realm of fantasy
skirmish combat.

Player characters are heroes, not average infantrymen.

So the wimpy shield effect is more influenced by fantasy literature than
large scale battles.
