Hi Paul.
  OK.  Well I base my feeling that shields should
be better from the campaigning of a friend who 
was in the SCA.  He has said repeatedly that 
having a shield is huge.

  Now in the SCA, your shield does not get hacked
to bits so I'm not saying that that is the end all
and be all.  But I do feel that his point had 
merit.  So that is why we beefed up shields in my
campaign.
