Re: [Slope: Ch 12] Re: Going to surprise a party with your boars sometime... Thanks!

TFT animals have low intelligence, because they're animals. That means they also have low willpower (perhaps sometimes true, depends on context) and low perception (clearly not true) and limited cunning (probably also depends on context but I guess largely true). It's a general problem that should be fixed.

Well, boars are basically pigs, and pigs are quite intelligent animals. I'd make them at least as smart as wolves, maybe a tick smarter. They also have a spectacular sense of smell. And they're dangerous.

There's a reason people hunted them in groups.

Hi all,
I doubled checked the rules on Trampling.  Two changes to
the Boar rules:

— Note that the Trample is a free action.  It can trample
AND do something else.  For example, it may trample, then
decide to go into HTH so it can bite.  (If you are using my HTH
rules, attacking on the turn it enters HTH is at –4 DX.)

— Trampling a figure on the ground does not give you a
+4 DX for an attack vs. a fallen figure.  The trample happens
at the Boar’s regular DX.

Warm regards, Rick.
