Re: Dark City Games

One, I hope you guys “work this out” or at least “go on peacefully with your lives”.

Two, I thought George’s email was well written and “nice” to read. I am not involved in any of this, it just “read well’ and contained good advice.

Sorry about blasting this out, guys.  I read my email in chronological order and just hit reply.  I didn't realize that I had blasted it to everyone until I read the next email.

Very sorry about that, I'll be more careful in the future.

Rick,

You actually withdrew the Demon Hive offer a couple years ago.  That's why we haven't talked about that.  I'm not "ghosting" you.

Also, your offer to review SOR came many years after it had been released.  You seemed to really want to review it, so that's why we went ahead with that.

Rick you have a good create streak in you.  You have good ideas, and you clearly have the tenacity to follow through with things.  For your own sake, please continue to develop your ideas and publish what you can.  You can do that with or without Dark City Games.  There's a community out here that wants TFT compatible products.

In the end, it's all about the community.

Hi George,
I wished you the very best, and was willing to put a great deal of
work for a trivial payment to help you succeed.  (For example, you
send me a product that needs testing, and I would play it myself,
play it with my friends, and then read and reread it and write a report.
I don’t remember the exact number, but I believe I sent a 20+ page
report on your Sewers product (which was 64 pages long if I recall
correctly) in exchange for one copy of the game.)

I formally withdraw this offer.  Please do not send me any products
that you wish to get feedback on.  I no longer care to help you in this
way.

If you wish to terminate our deal for the Demon Hive solo
adventure, it would have been kind to actually come out and say so.
Ghosting me, just seems sleazy.

I am formally removing that product from consideration.  You no
longer have permission to publish my work.

        Regards, Rick.
