Personally, I like the players and NPC's to have access to mild magic. 
Nothing much more powerful than the stuff in the books. However, I'd like to 
see lots of the wilder magic around both as flavor and as assistance or 
hinderance. Oracles, Gods, things of that nature. Not to be beaten up by or 
to beat up the players.
