(TFT) Paladins

I think you are all too focused on "Paladin" as what
D&D defined them as. A Paladin is a Champion, Roland's
knights were Paladins because they Championed the
Church.

Paladin/Anti-Paladin are glib D&D definitions brought
about by their looney alignment system.

C&S 2 got a better handle on the idea of "Piety", ie
how Pious someone is for their religion. Now that's a
hard one to quantify in numbers for TFT, but there
should be a way of the "Paladin" being an exemplary
knight of a Religious Fighting Order (like the Knights
Templar) or a particular warrior who has dedicated
him/herself to his/her faith.

Thus Ibrahim is a Paladin of Islam fighting the
warriors of the Dread Asulf, Paladin of the Evil God
Sekhmet.

It's be up to the GM to keep the "Pious" thing
straight, as well as any benefits accruing to the
Paladin, if any.
