Afraid, bah... Ive run some of my best best games ever on IRC or some form 
of it.

As a matter of fact I Mercenary Spies And Private Eyes for Stackpole, smith 
and a few other game designers online once in 92. They gave me a standing 
ovation.

you really should consider it. Im working on a client program that will 
allow unit facing and stuff like that for melee. no megahex indicators 
though.
