'Captain' Thorn of Edt here, I'm up for this. 'Sir' Dominic and I
will be working together this weekend, we're local and so could do
this
FTF some time. If the list wants to follow, it could be done with
GameBox. If copyright's an issue, it could be done with an 'ugly'
Gamebox, with counters that are functional but not pretty. :)
I do not know anything about GameBoxes. Is that easy to set up and view?
Joe, is that what you use for your games? If it is, then I think the
copyright problem should be OK. How easy is it to pop in and see this.
Does it cost money to get a GameBox? Is a GameBox real time or can you go
back and view what has already happened. (most of us will probably not be
able to view this at the time your doing it.)
Also, I hadn't realized that the Thorn & Dominic could meet face-to-face.
Perhaps all that is needed is for you to document your skirmish tests in a
word program and perhaps a map and then relay it to someone on the group who
could post the write-up on their website.
One thing: I will _not_ charge a line of pikes.
How would you like to be the Pikemen?
The original question
was lancers versus halberd and sword. My thoughttests show that two
ranks Halberd and Sword can be got through, three ranks is really
pushing it.
Arrange the test in the way that you would like and that is the most fun for
you. We'll just watch. And thanks for taking this up.
Hail Melee
John Paul
