I agree --- but the people on this list probably dont do "armor class"
calculations! 

I dont think its a matter of being "math-impaired" so much as it simply
being not fun! I mean, if the reason to do this is to make combat faster so
that it will be more fun to play, it seems like 'robbing-peter-to-pay-paul"
so to speak...

An interesting idea....
