Oh, but it IS fun!  Because it means that although the Orc rolled an 8,
your miserable magician's Parry of 8 still saved your hide.  This time. 
And if it didn't (Orc rolled a 9, perhaps?), then it's certainly no less
fun than it would have been without a Hindrance/Parry rule in effect.

Thanks.  It's part of a whole combat module intended to drop over any
RPG.  But like most home-grown efforts, it's about 90% finished, and
likely to stay that way.
