RE: (TFT) Calendar system for Cidri?

I used GURPS Space to roll my own planet - got one
that was a tad further out from earth so both the
summers and winters were colder. (I kept the axial
tilt the same for simplicity)

However, I got wrapped around the axle when I decided
to base the mythology of a civilization on the apparent
magnitudes of the other planets in the system.  Using
our own system to check the calculations, I kept winding
up a little low on the magnitudes.  Eventually, I got
close, but the derivation got a lot more involved than
I had originally intended.
