LOL! I can't say for sure, but the latest issues of the Dragon that I've
gotten lately has had lots 'sidebar' articles on how to twist the rules to
get the maximum advantage. In that sense, I suspect it has more in common
with Champions than TFT.

As one d20 merchant said at Gen Con. "Gamers like 'fiddly-bits'. d20 has
tons of fiddly-bits!".
