I guess I've just been lucky. I've always been able to make a great
character out of any combination of powers and people seem to like them. 

That said, Jeff Dee's web-site has point-build system that I've seriously
considered adapting for TFT to build Superpowers, but Ron Pehr's still wins
out for simplicity. 

Superheroes is the one genre that I dont think TFT would be great at.
However "Realistic" superheroes might be pretty well done. I was thinking
about using TFT for a "Brave New Word/Unsanctioned" style superhero game.
