I don't think that Dave's version of the
talent is UNBALANCED. I just would be happier
if the effect was triggered by something other
than missing by one.

This sort of fast punch reminds me of
fight scenes from Jackie Chan movies. It was
not the incompetent fighters that got these
sorts of shots, it was Jackie and his _tough_
opponents that got the clever, unexpected
attacks. As I was saying, this is a talent
that becomes LESS useful as you climb up the
sweet side of the bell curve.

	How about this rule change:

When your opponent attacks you and rolls
a number evenly divisible by 4 that is lower
than your DX, you get this attack. This way,
tough fighters will get more of the special
attacks, & the ability can be used when you are
defending, or in situations where 'regular'
attacks can not be used.

I am tempted to say if your IQ is 11 to
14 it must be divisible by 5, from IQ 15 to 18
it must be evenly divisible by 4, and figures
with IQ 19+ can get the special attacks on
rolls divisible by 3. This rewards high IQ in
catching clever opportunities, but makes an
already complicated talent even more complicated.
It rewards the behavior I would like to see
from these rules, but is too complicated, oh
well.
