Re: (TFT) Wizard Scans
Nocstar, a nice interesting mechanic there. How about if wearing iron
disrupted incoming scans the same way it affects spellcasting? That way,
wizards could try to hide themselves a bit at the cost of messing up their
auras, until they dropped the iron.
A new type of spell and/or magic item and/or potion protecting from scans
would make sense.
Also, you don't mention range limits or effects.
Nor effects of partial concealment. Seems to me that if a wall (even a
tent) of any thickness blocks, there are still questions of say, a saloon
door, or a toe peeking or eye peeking around a corner. Or a crowd of people
blocking (all, or most of) the view to the target. Or someone in full steel
plate directly between target and scanner, someone hiding under a table
(does the line of scan go from the eyes or head or from the scanner's whole
body), can you scan behind yourself without Eyes Behind, etc.
Another option would be to add a magical talent or spell to allow or
provide a bonus (or avoid a penalty) to scan attempts (and/or to hide from
them).
