Yes, the proposed truth potion seems cheap for what it says it does, 
compared to the existing options.

If desired, there could also be truth potions that have 
interesting/limiting disadvantages such as:

* Chance to resist, either entirely, or for instances.

* Antidotes - things that the subject can consume, or be, which counter the 
effect.

* A potion might remove the ability to lie without compelling them to say 
anything.

* A potion might improve the truthfulness but reduce the coherence, memory, 
and/or IQ.

* There could also be different chemical and alchemical versions, with 
different effects, side-effects, and mixing effects.

Again, what's best to make available can be a matter for the GM to choose 
based on taste. Some might want a magic ability to get unquestionable 
answers, while others wouldn't want such powers.
