Gotta address this:

'Train' is not quite the right word.  They just get
used to the idea that things they do have
consequences, and that the world makes sense, as much
as I can make it so.

They aren't afraid to step outside the velvet ropes,
but the know that when they do, they'd best be paying
attention.
