Re: (TFT) LoS rules.



Hmmm, I thought that was the weakest part of the game because the figure and terrain scales were so far apart. Oh well, it is just a simple game.

Back a few years ago when I was playing miniatures more often (at all ??) one of my friends was (still is??) a huge GW fan. I always wanted to try fielding a short army just so I could mess up his LOS by hiding in the lichen he always put on the table to make it realistic looking.

To my mind that is the nicest part of
Heroscape.  Their line of sight rules
basically say, 'get behind a figure &
squint.  If you can see some part of
the target figure, you have a LoS.'

Very hard to write reasonable LoS rules
with out sounding like a physics text
book.

 Of course this brings in the old LOS bugaboo and I gotta
 find some easy way to calculate this that doesn't feel
 kludgy (ie, Squad Leader).
