OK - it's true I shouldn't have spared the list, but given that there was no real answer, I guess I wasn't so motivated.

On the TFT mailing list, which probably has dozens of members, many
people have been rehashing the HTH rules lately. There's this issue that
has a lot of people divided regarding the original Melee rules:
Should HTH initiation really be allowed during the MOVEMENT phase for
disengaged figures? Some speculate it's a loophole because it bypasses
the "each side gets a move" philosophy of the game. We would be thrilled
if you could share with us any insight. Hope it's not a bad question to ask.

It's got to be at least ten years since I played those rules, not that I'm bragging . . . but I'd have to actually push some figures around to wake up the old memories before I ventured an opinion.
