No, it's not. It's game world physics. Conan's feet stick to the ground
because it helps the story along. If it were another kind of story, say a
wuxia story, the hero's feet might not be so sticky.

I think you're confused. These are fantasy stories, Real world physics don't
apply because it's not a real world. The stories provide the "something
better". Dragons don't exist, but if they did, they would be way too heavy
to fly. In "real world" physics, most TFT combats would be over with the
first blow. PCs and monsters wouldn't be going around fighting with a bunch
of arrows sticking out of them. PC don't get fatigued as they fight. Need I
go on?

There isn't one...until you try to apply your concepts to TFT. They simply
don't fit. TFT, I believe is a light fantasy game with little attempt at
real world modeling. It's heroic gaming. There are physical laws but they
read "a broad sword does 2d6 damage", not "the broad sword strikes with
250ft/lbs". I hope you can see the futility in attempting to model real
physics in the TFT game construct.

I still disagree. The GM CANNOT be just another player! He/she has the
responsibility to keep the game and plot moving. The GM controls the entire
environment in which the PCs and NPCs exist. If the GM did as you say, the
game would simply stop. In all the games that I've played as a player or GM,
in all systems I've played, never has the GM stopped controlling the game's
environment.

No.
