RE: (TFT) Why random dungeons...

I think there is room for both types.  

Death Test 1 & 2 are very random, but they are a lot of fun and people have great memories of playing them.  That they are still played is a testament to the strength of the random dungeon model. 

The same is true with adventures D1-3 against the Drow.  Well themed dungeon adventures against the Drow and their allies underground.

There is room for both, although I will say I get more replay value out of the random ones.
