I'd like to know about it during character creation but otherwise wouldn't
gripe about it.
Part of it comes down to what damage actually is.
Physicker doesn't distinguish between first aid and surgery and internal
injuries aren't treated with first aid.
With 5 second turns damage could be seen as being the result of a flurry of
moderate blows as easily as in a single strike although the default
assumption for player imagination seems to be the single blow.
